about

Manchester filthy-blues garage rockers, Bones Shake, joined the Sister 9 roster in July 2022 with their epic album 'Bleed'. This is their first album, Sermons, which was released on the band's own label in 2019.

Bones Shake are a scuzzed out, fuzzed out garage rock trio formed in 2011 in Manchester’s underground. They play everything into the red; violent bottleneck blues riffs, drums kicked, pounded and twatted and squeals of reverb drenched vocals which combine to help save your soul.

“This musical entity is probably the closest I’ve seen to embodying rock and roll in its rawest, provocative form.” (Silent Radio)

“Uncompromising and amazingly vital, this album shows what a great band Bones Shake are.” (Louder Than War)

“Sermons is intense and a bit intimidating and a perfect antidote to the corporate shitfest that is mainstream musical entertainment. Uncompromising and exhilarating. Definitely recommended.” (The Punksite)
